Windsor Homes recently celebrated a major milestone: 50 years of building homes and serving the Fort Wayne community. The company marked this significant occasion with a celebration on Friday, September 12, which brought together trade partners from throughout its history.

The event not only honored Windsor Homes’ enduring commitment to quality home building but also raised funds for The Carriage House of Fort Wayne, a local organization that provides a supportive community for individuals living with mental illness. By partnering with The Carriage House, Windsor Homes demonstrated its dedication to giving back to the community that has supported its growth over the decades.

Windsor Homes’ journey began in 1975 when Jeff Gilmore founded the company with a passion for building high-quality homes. Over the years, the company has evolved and grown, with Gary Allen and more recently, Rob Wacker, leading the way into a new era of innovation and excellence. Their leadership has ensured that Windsor Homes remains committed to its core values while embracing new ideas and technologies.

“Windsor Homes is proud to have been a part of Fort Wayne’s growth and development for 50 years,” said Rob Wacker, President. “We’re grateful for the relationships we’ve built with our trade partners and the community, and we’re excited to continue serving for many years to come.”

The Carriage House of Fort Wayne offers a unique approach to mental health support, providing a safe and welcoming space where individuals can connect with others and become active members of the community. Windsor Homes is thrilled to have supported this worthy cause and looks forward to continuing its involvement.
